Jacking up your car

In the past I would jack up each side of the cat to put the jack stands under it. Does anyone jack their car up a one place and then put the jack stands under it? If so where?

there is a spot on the front of the car, where you jack up the whole front of the car at once, then put your stands under the side of the car where it tells you too (look in your manual)

There is a rear and front jacking point. They are also your tow hooks. However, you need a jack that can extend over two feet to put the jack stands under the jack points.

i have jacked the car up in all four corners using a real jack, not that pos in the trunk by going under the frame rail, which is about 5 inchs inward from the suggested jacking location, then place the jack stand under the suggested location tabs sticking out.
