jacking point

i am trying to place jackstands and I do not know a jacking point. If I use the jacking point behind each wheel, I can not place jackstand because it is already supported by the jack. If I use the toe hook i can not lift it high enough to get the jackstand there.

Anyone with nice pictures?

dont put it on the mainframe...it bends...trust me i know. If you look under the car by where the sideskirts end there's a -| where you put the stand NEXT to... OR, if you have a body kit and the OEM jack doesnt work, where the mainframe ends theres a metal plate you can use as a jack point that doesnt bend...peace -> rep points...yei!

in the front of the car there is a lift point just behind the radiator.(dead center you will see the bumper is molded to see it) or you can use the 2 tow hooks to lift by (1 in frot of each front wheel)

He said he's tried to use it but can't get it high enough.

There should be a large bolt right behind the wheel/tire, use that. You should be able to use that and the jack points at the same time.

id suggest getting a bigger floor jack. use the factory lift points to lift the car. then you will see the black subframe that goes around the bottom of the engine and tranny. you can place the car on the jackstands on that. it will support the car

I guess, when I think jack point, I'm thinking of the four vertical plates behind each front wheel and just in front of the rear wheel? Those are the jack points. Are you trying to use one jack to lift the entire front/rear end?

Look at where the arrows are pointing on this pic, there is like a half rectangle coming out of the chassis...that’s the jacking points.

put some wood under your hydrolic jack, and then lift it either from the spot in the middle past the radiator or by one of the two front tow hooks. then just put your jack stands in the "regular" spots
