Red face the jack stands and jack that you use???

i have a 2-ton floor jack and 4 ton jack stands but it seems like my floor jack doesn't jack high enough for my jack stands..

maybe i should get a 2-3 ton jack stands instead? or increase the floor jack to 3 ton?

oh by the way.. one of my my 4-ton jackstands cracked when i put my car on it for the first time!!! there was a huge bam! damn! it was hella scary... anyways.. i will go exchange them today..

I have two MVP 2 ton floor jacks i bought from Wal-mart for $19.99 a piece. I put a piece of 2x2 on it to keep from damaging the bottom of the car. I don't use stands. Just the ol trusty scissor jack as a back-up.

Nice pic! You finally installed the kit, eh? It looks almost like mine now!

BTW, I have a 3 ton jack. When I jack up the rear, I can't raise it high enough to place the jack stands under the car either. BTW, I use the tow hook to jack up the rear.

Hey, here is a thread in which I asked for members opinions on floor jack. Check it out. http://www.acura-tl.com/ubb/Forum9/HTML/001392.html
