bro. you can source a J32a2 for JUST as cheap as the 07 motor....
the A3 from the 07 changes A LOT OF THINGS!!!!!!
first, the heads are cast into the block...
2nd, the tranny won't bolt up.

How much is the 07 engine? I bet you're still over paying....

The j32a3 was gonna run me $500 bucks I was mainly looking at it because of the way the exhaust manifold bolts up looks pretty easy to make a better charge pipe as I'm looking to boost my TL

You're best to find a junked CLS6 and use all the parts. Or just buy a CL6 and turbo that. The older J engines with actual headers are better for power and removing heat quicker, but harder to fab a turbo manifold.

yeah the turbo manifold was mostly what I was worried about the j32a3 makes that a bit easier to fab up. I did end up finding a j32a2 today tho

carpart.com has tons of these engines. Check out the J35A3 also. It's very similar to the J32A2 but much more torque. It's an auto only engine so there are a few small 6speed parts to swap onto it.

It may make for a easier time fabbing but the head design isnt going to be as boost friendly as the A2 heads.
