The J30 mystery mod set to dyno run on November 5th. Pre-production assembly of this mod continues and is quite complex (costly). The purpose is strictly proof of concept then a design to reduce tooling and production costs will commence if performance data supports a viable product.

Dyno mule will be a 97' 3.0CL with ~42K on the clock. An Accord LX-V6 will be a street mule for the R&D set-up.

Also of note, a K20A2 engine (RSX-S) mystery mod is also joining the development roster and is expected to see a dyno session before December.

Tim at ACP will handle all availability issues after release. The J32A2 mod will release first followed several weeks later by the J32A1 mod as its production start-up lagged the A2's. Pricing is per ACP, but will be a great deal vs non-ACP vendors.

 

RSX-S now too? Damn I want to know what this is. All I know is you gonna make a fortune off of all us Honda/Acura owners

Wampum, Sorry, the expense of extracting HP out of the C32/C35 engine family is cost prohibitive at best. That motor required heads, intake manifold/induction and ECU changes to produce 230HP on the GS Legend.....to fit these upgrades would cost over $6000 new and maybe $3500 used...

Yeah! ACP will probably crash due to all the AV6'ers that will buy this product upon its release. I hope that doesn't happen while I order it though.

 

Hey I was wondering, is this thing going to have a name, or is it just going to be called the "mystery mod". I think it'd be pretty dope when people ask me what I got under the hood and I say intake, exhaust, and mystery mod.
