i just said that 4cyl are easier to turbo, not that you can't turbo the v6
and yeah the 4 banger, will not have nearly as much low end grunt as a v6

look at a bugatti veyron, that is a 16 cylinder turbo straight from the factory

they are also stuffing hybusa motors in them too

but normally the 4 banger engine bays geneally have more room for a turbo then a v? type engine, but yeah it is just a matter of finding enough room for it to fit

Hell no it's not the 4cyl lol I wouldn't even bother with a 4cyl Accord, it's the V6 =), here is a picture... yeah it's salvage that's how I purchase my cars. Going to hopefully pick it up for $4,000.00 cash, only has 42k miles on it.

^ i saw the busa engine in one. its crazy, great fuel economy and major balls. beast on the street.

they do have more room but staying NA, v6 is where its at.
only way id get a 4cyl if for fuel economy, and it would be an accord. probably like a mini cooper s or honda fit.

All aigbags are fine, yeah very little stuff $1,000.00 in parts shouldn't be more, maybe even less.
It's about 8 hours from my home but luckily my brother has his own trucking company and said he'll help me out and get here free of charge so everything seems like a go, it'll be a for sure YES or NO by tomorrow.

Nope, frame is good, only front end damage and the front end holds up pretty strong, if this car was hit on the side or back I wouldn't even bother, that's like 99% frame damage. But yeah it seems so far all I would need is fender, hood, radiator, radiator support (i think), bumper. Maybe a few things here and there.

yeah staying NA, the 6 is gonna kill a 4 banger any day (as long as they have the same type of tranny)

it almost looks like the frame rail got pushed back or something (look at where the fender meets the door),

and by the looks the car rearended a suv or pickup, by how high the damage is kinda, so i am not totally sure if the airbags would have deployed, as said i think the salvage title is more from a bent frame/chassis (and the front has already been repainted once before too)

bumper has been repainted before from what i see.

the bulk head most likely pushed the fender back.

^ive seen it done before

just check the car over really good. any mismatched paint on the frame, or bends/welds on teh frame. check the subframe, look underneath the spare tire. lift the door sills to see if their is any signs of welding or straightening

and the doors and trunk should still open like new, any binding and the frame is proably tweaked

but yeah for any bends and such pay very close attention to the driver side frame rail and where it is attached to the firewall, and the firewall,

also cracking paint at one point means that it has been bent there (and i be worried about the frame rails potentaly (sp?) having been pulled closer to each other at the front [so toed in :shrug])

, so yeah the car needs to checked over VERY WELL, before you should get it, and if they won't let you take a good look at it, i would just move on

They will let me check it for sure, just I don't want to drive 8 hours... lol. I'm going to check out a Maxima for sale my dad saw from some private seller and see what that's all about before I pull the trigger and drive out to see the Accord.

I drove it today, happy to report I'm accident free and never stalled it. I guess driving in an automatic and using a pepsi bottle as a shifter and pretending there is a clutch helped me haha. Once I get it insured this week I'll be driving it farther. It makes a lot of weird noises that I will have to check out, the ride is rough as well but idk it's probably supposed to be like that since it's a sport compact.

Hehe yea, took it out today around the block with my friends, gunned it in second then all of a sudden the car just starts spinning the front tires and sliding side to side so I let off. FML I hate icy roads.
