I was behind a is300 today (while sitting in traffic) and noticed that the 3rd brake light on the spolier was all clear. Ours is a red reflector. I thought maybe it was a mod of something but there was an older guy driving. I'm not saying they don't mode but the rest of the car looked stock. There is a glass place near my house and they do really good work. I was thinking of bringing the piece from my spolier brake light there and seeing if they can replace it with a clear one or somehow clear it out....anyone know what I'm talking about?

 

i have seen posts where people have found sites where they sell clear lights like that, but the problem is that they may not fi....but you can always try! good luck! tell me how it goes!!

 

I'm getting mine pretty soon. Once I got that I'll let you know how it works. Maybe it is about time I take some updated pics of my car too

Why don't you just get the clear spoiler lights? If you have correct measurement, you can get it.

I think you should post up them updated pics! I am very curious as to what your mods look like... headed up to T.O. this w/e to pick up an OEM body kit from Woodbine Acura. Saved a bundle thanks to a fellow forum member.

Gonna bite the bullet and drive it home (4 hrs) and do the install myself (with a friend). With the $$$ I save (C$350 + tax), I'm looking into springs & sways.

I wanted the entire thing to be clear because you can hardly notice it on the IS and it looked really clean.

 

some one on the board has it...well im not sure if hes on anymore but check out the gallery, it was tthere a while ago but not sure if its still there.. white tl with ww kit and stock spoiler with white lense...

 

Great news everyone! I just got the clear lens LED spoiler assembly. It is the exact same replica of the OEM assembly It's 3:20am, I took the wing apart and tried to put it in, perfect fit! :wow: It's kinda late now and I want to get back to the Korean worldcup game. So I just put the wing back together. But I'll install it tomorrow. Can't wait! :jump I'll see if I can get some pics this weekend. If not, pics will be here next week.
