Ipod

So i was thinking of getting 1. I was looking at them at Best Buy and say they had the new video one hooked up to a LCD. Then i got to wondering if there wasa way to hook it up to my TV and HU. Well low and behold

http://www.kenwoodusa.com/products/L...&k3=58&pr=1847

This would allow me to hook it up to the HU and i know i could find a way to get it to my TV (if i wanted)

So what do ya think. Do it so i no longer have to carry CD's around and have like a Hard drive of music to choose from and use the radio to do it?

undoubtly you sould, but with the resolution of the iPod you'd probably get a really crappy picture. you'd be trying to stretch a video optimized for a 2.5 screen to an 8" screen.

I wouldnt use it for the Video mutch if any, mostly the music capability.
But i do have to say the picture on the 12=14" screen did look pretty good!

in all honestly i hope i can use it for video capabilities...

but i'm not holding my breath....

the resolution of the ipod is 320x240

i think the navi screen is 800x600.

but there is a video out for use on large displays... so it just might work..

Well i picked up a Black 60gb video ipod and the interface for the Kenwood HU. Even though its probably a 30 min install ill probably get to it after X-mas. I just need to find a holder for it to mount next to my HU
