I just installed my ipod adaptor in my 2000 tl with navi and it works great , i got the ice-link by dension, it's a bit on the pricy side 199.99 but well worth it as you can control the ipod from your steering wheel controls, and thats what i wanted.
I just downloaded the PDF file from this link here and the tutorial is one of the best i have seen, i installed mine in less than1 hour, it looks like a lot of work but it goes by fast, trust me, it was a piece of cake!
