It looked ghetto to have the yellow piece all the way across so I cut off 2/3 of it so only a small portion on each edge is on. It looks very nice. Very IS/GS. I am running Ion yellow bulbs but they just didnt look yellow enough from head on. Problem solved. Not too noticable in the day and VERY noticeable at night. For those who like the IS/GS look then try this. Its easy.

check out the contrast. Makes the 6000k stand out like a sore thumb! I'll try and take some pics at night.

 

IS that stuff temperature sensitive? It's just plastic film and those light casings get HOT.

 

We'll see. It is on the Extorior so I dont think it will be too much of a problem.

 

off the subject how did you white out the bottom part of the corn front lights

 

I'm curious if that holds up, the surface gets really hot to the touch, at least IMO.

Is that a type of film covering for the Radio controlled airplane wings and fuselages. Forgot what it's called?

 

Its called Monokote. Yes its for airplanes. Just Transparent yellow. I hope it holds up because it honestly looks very good. This is the first mod I've ever come up with on my own! Crime, the orange plastic piece is sandwiched in there. I think theres a step by step in the FAQs. Its a ***** to do.

And if it isn't as deep a yellow you want, I assume you can double the layer to strenghen the yellow color.

the contrast of the colors is nice, but if there was someway to do it without using that yellow film would be even better. Alas, i dont think that there is a way. Looks good except for that yellow film...
