Internal Transmission Failure

Just did my own brake job. Just had 2 new tires put on. Looks like I'm FINALLY ready to get my car inspected (expired in April 05).

Nope.

It occasionally slips and has jumpy/jerkiness in 3rd gear. Today it was happening ALL DAY. Called up Acura, whined about it, and they took the car. After a 2 minute test drive the guy came back in and told the service rep "internal transmission failure"...she told me it was covered under the extended 7 year/100k tranny warranty. I was hoping they would take the car before I got stranded somewhere with TOTAL failure. Yay.

Welp..add me to the tranny club. 2001 purchased in Oct of 2000 and it has 68,200 miles. I have a luxurious (pfffffft ) chevy impala rental that Acura is covering....these other cars sure make you appreciate an Acura.

Yup another tranny failure thread. Move along, nothing to see here...

The service rep is cute...that's the only reason why I hope for a bummy 2nd tranny :gheylaugh:

Watch her husband be a tough repair tech and he visits the boards. So much for my car.
