I did a search and read several issues similar but not exactly the same. I have the same problem with both of my tl's ('00-'02). The right taillights weren't working but the rest of the lighting system worked like the brake and marker lights. As a quick fix, I just tapped on the outside lense, and the lights kicked back on. I have only had to do this once on the '00 but twice on my '02. I live in Colorado and it is not that rainy here but a month ago it rained pretty hard...hard enough for water to get into the ballast of 1 of my front hids. It has rained since, nothing really to speak on, but I have had this problem ever since. Any suggestions?
