hey guys do anyone know if its common for there to be rust on the front seats where the car seat hinge is.. the piece that bolts on the body i backed up the seat the whole way and realised it is rusted or surface rust does anyone know if i can just sand it out or something i hope you know what i am talking about or ill get a pic tommrow

 

Yes, its normal it due to the fact of carrying all the salt on your shoes from winter and then the salt sitting in the carpets eats through that crappy paint. I have it on all 3 of my TL's only on the drivers side for some reason.


just get some rust remover and give it a really good scrub then just paint it with some heavy duty spray paint and it'll look good as new!
