haha yea they dont look too shabby. i have mine (light blue) hooked up to a switch that u can turn on n off... i should get some pics uploaded.. kinda lazy t hough so maybe not. But a tip.. DO NOT do the "do it yourself: footwell neons" shown in acurainspired website. the author forgot to say that you will blow many fuses and screw up your CPU. My dome light doesn't fade anymore because of that.. i had to learn the hard way. Hook it up straight to your battery if your gunna do it. And for costs... i'd say about 30 bucks total (including neons, switch, wire, fuse). Believe it or not i got my neons from comp usa hahaha. my neons are meant for computers. I think they were 2 for 20 bucks but i was like fuck that and shoved 3 of those neons into a cheaper neon box that was worth 1 for 10 . I bought 6 total (2 footwell, 2 behind passenger seat, 1 in trunk, 1 spare).

do it yerself, i have blue neon in my interior front and back, not too much, and classy looking.

and if you are not afraid of cutting a few wires and connecting a few wires, than you can save a lot of money...
peace.

If you want to do it like the AcuraInspired DIY, make sure to check how much power the neons pull. The circuit with the dimmer is only made to pull so much power through the dome light. If you really want to do it, swap the dome bulb with an LED bulb that draws much less power so you can put the extra neons in.

I swapped the stock dome bulb for an LED bulb. Instead of neons, I wired LEDs into ropes under the dash. The dimmer still works with LEDs in all the footwells front and back, although it doesn't dim as long now.

For everyone with broken dimmers, if someone has the TL's wiring diagram, you can probably figure out where the circuit is and replace the burnt capacitor.
