Even the so-called "resonator tips" don't make a rumble unless you're standing directly behind the car. Take that $150 and save up a comptech exhaust.

I think that this is an exaggeration. I don't think that replacing the exhaust resonator with a straight pipe, will magically turn our cars into the same sound of a G35. It definitely will be louder, and there will be more resonance, but the same as a G35, I don't quite think so.

for 50 bucs more, you can buy two magnaflow mufflers and have them sound throaty as hell and have great looking tips as well. Do a search for my name and magnaflow, you will find vids posted of my car with my mags on.

Sorry man, and maybe it's just the angle, but those exhausts don't look too good.

He means cut out the exhaust resonator. There is two, one is the size of a coke can and the other one is bigger. So cut the bigger one out and replace with a straight pipe. Smaller one won't make any difference in sound. Most muffler shops can do it.

I really hope he wasn't suggesting taking out one of the two mufflers lol. The TL would look horrible.......I seen one with one muffler and angled too YUCK

Why do people put their mufflers in at an angle anyways? I always thought it's cuz they can't fit the longer muffler in so they have to angle it. Please don't tell me people put it at an angle on purpose...

Its either because the pipping is set that way..or the exhaust doesnt fit for lower part of the bumper. Which your prolly right. But if ppl do the angle thing on purpose they deserve to be shot.

negative to both of those...

the angle look is the "JDM" look...it's cool on a beefed up Supra...but when these riceboy fags put a universal pos muffler at an angle w/ their 10 foot aluminum wing...that shits just wack

Agreed, but the angle look is not the "JDM" OEM look on a Supra. It can serve a purpose, but it's a matter of unrestricted airflow, not just looks alone, if functional.
