interior mods

I was wondering what little interior mods you guys have done, just to give me some ideas.

I plan on doing the led dash conversion, as well as the doors and dome. Another mod i want to do is to chrome out the shift cover.
Wondering what you guys have either done, or thought of doing.

paint the wood trim the color of your car. unless you have a 99 you cant do the chrome shifter.

I wonder how that would look. I dont know of anyone who has actually got it painted chrome, someone did it on their own, but it came out real dull...The '99 chrome plate looks like real chrome!

All you have to do is sand off the paint and it's chrome underneath it. Don't get it painted when it's already done. As for mods, paint the console trim peices or get a custom dash.

No, dont sand it. All you need to get is graffiti remover from home depot for five bucks. You can ONLY do it to a 99 tl

actually, mine's a 99, which is why i can't just use paint thinner or something.

i just got a new deck, and plan on getting tein edfc kit, which is why i'm all excited to hook up the interior of my car. i wanna make it look real nice, smooth, a chrome shifter would do that. just wondering if someone had some sick ideas i ain't thought of yet

one guy illuminated his door sills, that's pretty tight....innovative

No way man. I just painted mine SSM to match my fiberglass dash. It didn't match so I was peeling the paint off and it took the factory off as well. Underneath. ALL CHROME. By the way I took it to a body shop to get pro paint and match.

dude if you sand it it will look like crap.
the 99 is the only one thats chrome and has been painted over! to get teh chrome back all you have to do is get some paint remover and apply it to it for a little bit then wipe/rinse off and you will have chrome

All of it. The looks does not look professional .....at all. And in my opinion there's way too much of the wood, aluminum, etc. on there. Maybe if you didn't cover the entire console it would look better.
