intake resonator removal... should i do it?

i know it gives you more sound when vtec kicks in which is sick as funk. but i also here that theres a hum when u idle. my car idle's a lot because i have to turn on my car to listen to my system or else the battery will run out. Is the hum really that annoying?

theres no hum...theres definitley that noticeable new sound at WOT, but no humming at all. It can only make u happier to remove the resonator.

Is there any gains from taking off the resonator? Just sound? and where is it located?

Hum is more noticable with the 2nd resonator removed. Do a search, there's another thread on this same subject.
