its easy, just remove front bumper then theres like 2 screws on the resonator on the left driver side. remove that and just pull the bitch out. done and done.

The intake resonator is connected to a 3 inch pipe. Once the resonator comes off, you will have a 3 inch pipe exposed (which is what you want) since it will now be sucking in more air, giving you a much nicer rumble while under full throttle. I just put in a a K&N filter recently, and notice that the noise even got deeper, so now I love the sound. It's just a amazing.

Anyways, good luck with the removal. BTW the resonator just so you don't get confused is located directly in front of the driver side front wheel. It's a large black box. As soon as you remove the bumper, the resonator will be exposed. Trust me you can't miss it. Remove the 2 screws with a 10mm (I think, but could be 8mm) socket wrench, and then give it a little twist and turn, and it should come right off. Put the bumper back on, and let the VTEC rumble!!! I'm sure you'll enjoy the difference in sound.

Good luck.

Actually that is untrue, I removed my box with out removing the bumper... I unscrewed everything from the top (with a long extension) worked it loose, then removed the underskirt and got it out the bottom...

exactly- me too. i removed my airbox, some plastic pieces, then the donut hose thing, then i crawled under the car, took that first plastic panel off the bottom of the bumper, reached up and removed the 3 screws that hold the resonator box on, and it just dropped out. it took me and my friend 1 hr (our first time screwing with the air box), and took my mechanic like 10. (he put it on the lift).

good luck - shawn
