Intake manifold gasket

Hi everyone! it's my first post tho i've been educating myself here for like a year. I need an opinion here: i did the EGR port cleaning today and by mistake overtightened 2 bolts when putting everything back together so i ordered all new bolts from the dealership, but can i still use the same gasket? i compared the new and the old one before i put it inplace and they looked vertually the same anyways. thanx for help!

how overtight are we talking- breaking bolts?
the main intake manifold bolts are 16 foot pounds which is not that much

No reason to buy all new bolts-unless you really went crazy with the torque and stretched the threads
as long as the gasket doesnt have any pinchmarks on it- the new one should still be ok to use

Use a new gasket when you have one- especially the upper cover one and it has to be matched to the intake manifold side so it goes on right side up
can be on wrong and fit but car wont run right

The injector base runners (going into cylinder head) are aluminum, right? The IM bolts into those. Always got to be careful bolting into aluminum.

ok,i put everything back together with the proper torque and it seems to work just right, plus the "Check engine" gone away! does that mean that everything correct or i might experience problems not rightaway but in the nearest future? whats the rule of thumb on that?

The CEL can come back at any given time, for any given issue...If it went away after you fixed everything up, then I'd say you're good to go.
