Is a bypass valve needed in FL?

Well, i lived in Orlando for 2 years and it really doesnt poor for that long there. You get a rainy day every now and then but it usualy lasts only a lil while, sometimes minutes. Hey, for a few bucs its better to be safe than sorry right? Just do it for that extra sense of security.

If you posted about the bypass valve, that means get it because then you will have peace of mind.
BTW, I always thought Florida had their share of heavy rainfall.
