Well i had to take off my bumber to get the resonator out when I was clearing my headlights. If i remember it would be kinda hard to get to the two long screws on the side without taking off the bumber. maybe you could just pull it off really far, but i wouldnt recomend doing that. and plus its not too hard to take off the bumper anyway.

No need to remove the resonator if you are just installing a short ram.

When I removed my resonator, I didn't remove the bumper..but I WOULD recommend you removing the bumper because there is one long a** bolt that is hard as f*ck to take off with the bumper on.

yea... what he said... you only have to take out the box that has the stock filter in it, which detaches from the resonator. your short ram filter will sit where that box was.

Rayman, I installed the AEM short ram intake on my TL, and it would not fit without taking out the resonator. If you check some pictures on the forum, you will notice that everyone took out their resonator. At least with my application, the filter was too large in diameter to fit with the resonator in.
