Installing OEM kit...help!

can some one please help me out with what i can do. Im attempting to remove the stock side skirts but they won't come off. Is there a technique to it? I've been trying to get either side off but its not working. THere are 2 screws in the front wheel well and 4 under the car right? I've been trying to slide the side skirt towards the front of the car. Some one please help

i just got mine on 2 days ago and it was a pain to get the side skirts off. I recommend getting a 2x4 or anything really sturdy and leverage it against the rear wheel and just the side skirt and push the board towards the front. Try it, it works!

Like 2003TypeS side start in the rear, grab hold of those suckers, put your foot on the rear wheel as support and use all your body weight and pull the skirts towards the front of the car. If it doesn't budge on the first try keep doing it a couple more times . It'll pop off so don't worry about breaking it.

after removing ALL the screws, i totally agree with the 2x4 technique! using your hands is not enough and it just makes you think you are going to bend it out of shape. the 2x4 should be wedged at the rear of the skirt and then presssed forward till the skirt slides off the pop pins.

well, i finished installing the whole kit a few hours ago. I swear it makes the car look 10 times better. The side skirts were a biatch to take off but they finally came off. It's normal for the rear lip to have a gap huh? No matter what i did to adjust the back, it always had a gap
