installed the 6000k bulbs....

OK i installed the 6000k bulbs, and WOW they are hott. I took pics of my car, and my dads RL. His HIDs used to look exactly like mine before... the bulbs i bought are the Philips cool power Enon 6000k D2r

I would take better pics, but its snowing bad out and i dont feel like taking both cars out just to take pics.

These lights were warmed up. Also check out the differnce between the RLs halagon fogs... CHECK OUT THAT GROUND.
Looks better in person.

Did you buy it online? How much? Is it just the bulbs you have to change? Is it easy to change as the fog lights?

Those 6000Ks look pretty good. It is hard to tell the difference from a straight on view, but in the reflection on the ground you can really tell the difference.

How much did the bulbs cost you?

I bought them off someone on here. He was selling his TL, so i bought them I think they are around $325 new? Not sure.

I wouldnt say AS easy to install as the fogs. Because there is a spring in the low beams that are a pain to work with. But took me less than 45min after figuring out what i was doing. Their lights look great when driving around, makes the halogen lights look like piss. Well worth it. Heres the box of the ones i got....

BTW, are these street legal? And do they make the HIDs look too blue, or pretty comparable to the BMWs and Audis?

not sure about how they look from far.... but on the ground it looks like more of a benz HIDs.. pure white. Street legal? Im pretty sure they arent. But then again most things are illegal and people do them, like tints. Most cops know the acuras come HID standard now, so i dont think someone would have a problem. I guess I will find out in due time. :p

I do not like the purple color, I like the pure white the CLS stock HIDs make

The RL isnt worth the money, even my father agrees. I mean I have everything in my car that he does. And his car cost 13k more. Ride is nice in it though, very boat like.

The RL has a few more goodies than the TL. It has a/c knobs and vents for the back seat, whereas ours just has vents. It also has rear reading lights, and just about more lights throughout the car than ours. It has real wood. It's got more space and a softer ride. Have you ever seen the navigation screen on that thing? It's huge!

I'd still prefer my TL for it's 5 speed sportshift and it's lower price, but I admit that the RL has some nice touches.
