Installation on Comptech Parts

Hey guys,

I will be picking up some Comptech springs and a Comptech axle-back exhaust next week and am calling different dealers around for installation costs. The best price I have found is $475.00 to install everything including a 4-wheel alignment. Is this price fair or is the dealership asking for too much???

Thanks in advance for all your help.

if you are installing the springs you will want to wait a few weeks before you get the alignment done thats for sure....

to have those parts installed it seems about average but im sure you could get them to bring it even lower!

im sure you could do the axle back yourself. i hear its pretty easy and when u get under the car its just a few bolts. the springs i wouldnt touch them, although i think darkdj or 2004tl just installed their own springs, he may have a diy for ya

I don't know about the cost of installing exhaust but here in LA I got my springs installed for $100, then an alignment for $60 somewhere else. Apparently LA is known for having lots of import shops (so cheaper prices), but $475 seems high...

Springs aren't that hard. Read up on the DIY instructions and you'll be fine. Good luck.
