Post Install wood trim kit?

Hi guys,
I am planning to order the wood trim kit from this site for my 01TL. I have a few questions I'd like to ask:
1. Does the wood trim match with the orignal wood in our TLs 100%?
2. How hard is it to install? I assume that just peel of the back and stick it right?
3. Do I need any special tools?
4. Anything that I should pay attention to when installing it?
5. Other suggestions/comments are appreciated.

Thanks,
kenny.

1. Yes, its great! Except the Joshua kit doesn't match very well.

2. Easy. They are stickers... comes with some glue type crap to wipe the area with first, then you just stick it on.

3. 1 wood kit, 1 q-tip for glue crap, 1 TL, and about 30 minutes

4. As soon as a piece touches the car, it sticks. Some people recommend alcohol, as it will keep the sticker from sticking right away, but I'm too hard headed for that BS. Just be careful.

5. Wood kit really makes your interior looks nice!

you gotta take out the silver trim around the shifter, and put the wood kit on. also be careful on the CD holder, if you don't place it right, it'll get stuck. just imagine those as some expensive stickers. and good reply, NATE

Yeah, good points Red. And if you get the kit with the trim for the little fake ashtrays in the doors, be careful because if put on wrong, like the trim for the cup holder, they might not open!

Good luck there hdp. I installed a wood trim on my previous car the acura legend back about 2 1/2 years ago, and it was my first and only time ever doing it, it's not so difficult at all. Use the Alchohol, it'll help. Also make sure you have a blow dryer to warm up the pieces to make it bend more easily.

I don't dig the wood... A little around the car is just fine with me(like it is now), thank you very much!

I agree...a touch of wood is good...too much wood looks overdone.
