They will rust. Id recommend getting them jet hot coated. They will last longer and help improve power.

Hey Kris & Kris,

Did you guys ever find a plug for that hole where the heated seats go for the CL-S?

Nope, I believe Kris said it wasn't even available. Maybe get the heated seat buttons for the console and rewire your buttons and make some custom gauges where the button are currently located?

^I got the little tabs from the integras/civics.

Fits perfect...might not be the same flat plastic design (crinkly design) but IMO it still looks better than a hole.

I'll take pics.

Yea there is no plug in the TL/CL that fits. You have to buy the seat heater switch or try others from honda.

98-02 doesn't have a manual trans for the V6's

03 CL-S= LSD
04+ TL = LSD
2003+ Accord V6=NO LSD but can buy brand new from Acura $850

Accord trannys are often cheaper and add BRAND NEW LSD. I would usually go this route that is unless you find a TL tranny for dirt cheap.

Remember the TL, Accord, and CL-S6 all have different shifters...not that much different but if you buy the tranny make sure you get that shifter to match for peace of mind.

Everything else will be identically the same.

If you have a type-S I would follow Kris' thread about the manual conversion.

You can still use either the CL-S or the 06 Tl-S shift linkage. But I recommend changing it over to the 03 CL-S ECU.

I don't think so. Maybe Kris can shed some light.

I'm actually rigging up some kind of module for mine. Yours could probably converted by just the wire harness and ECU. Either way your conversion would probably be much more simple.

I'd use the shift linkage for whatever trans you get. It's about $100 for the shift linkage brand new.

What engine harness are you talking about? There's the CL-S engine wiring harness then there's two engine to cabin wiring harnesses that you have to get too. I think that the CL-S and TL-S wiring harnesses will be so close that you should just get the wiring diagrams for both and manually rewire the harness that you have.

On being much more simple than us TL-P's.

Thanks. Still needs some touching up with the interior.

I'm not sure if you noticed Kris but the hole is plugged. You can kind've see it in the interior picture.

Vids soon.
