WOW InspireTL, this is an amazing build! It's pretty much exactly what i wanna do. Well I got the CL-S tranny and engine so i need to stroke it, but I want to get the heads and IM port and polished and I was thinking about boring it out, but I dont know if it can go any larger, since the walls look pretty thin to me.. and from research on the CL side these engines can handle 400+ hp...

anyways im just rambling here as I'm excited to see you are doing pretty much exactly what I've been planning!!... way to steal my thunder :P

Good Luck, cant wait to see the numbers!!

Thanks L3wD. Long time,no hear.

These engines can handle up to 12 psi on stock internals.

After me, We are doing a 3.7 into a CL and he will have his block bored out to the maximum. Anymore and the walls will not be strong enough.

He will not be able to add any sort of boost. It is strictly NA.

I'm using my original ECU but plan to add it with the AEM FIC and have the motor works with future turbo setup.

As far as standalone..I've seen P2R use stinger.

Thanks man.

Here's an update. Just cleaning the bay. My girl was hanging out and asked if she could help. I said no. Two minutes later she grabs the sponge and did work. Why I love her.

Nice and clean after Simple Green Extreme

LOL. He can do whatever. You need to invest in a 3.5.

You'll see it running shortly. Hopefully change your mind.

Ay Lloyd, where'd you get that steering wheel at? I forgot where you told me.

Awesome, Can't wait to see those secret plans

Yea that's how we did the last 3 swaps. It was much easier to get to the cleaning and it took no more than 15 minutes.

Damn!!! Ballers gripping grain.

Well let me know. I'm pretty sure you know Eddie with the Anthracite CL.

He is doing the 3.7 soon after I'm done.

You need to be after him, So we can keep up with Brandon and the rest of the guys.

Yup. I think it's Spoolinspoon on here somewhere. He should have a thread up when he starts the build.

Boost option will happen next year.

I plan to have the motor fully built.

Right now it's in the air. I am leaning towards a custom turbo but If I find a steal on an S/C I'll go that route.

Stick with me, and keep it a 99-01 front I only say that 'cause I can't afford the front end...

I can't wait to see you running with this swap. I need to come to DC and your boy to look at my exhaust and rear skirt. I'm sure he's the dude to talk to in VA.

I still like the 99-01. It will always be underestimated as a TL-P.

Just let me know. We can fix it for ya.

It is a WDP. It just doesn't look it anymore because it's been sitting for about 9 months.

I haven't had a chance to clean it up.

I sold the lipkit this past weekend to help for few plans in the future.
