Inspire tails, does it really change the look of our 01' car?

I am in the process of possibly buying 02' tails or buying another mod. But will 02' tails really make a difference to 01's?

I think the major difference between the '02 and non-02 tails is that the '02s are clear with regards to the turn signal...i.e. no orange. One option for you is to tint out the orange, which is very inexpensive, and then spend the money on another mod. The '02 tails do look sweet, but since your car is black, tinting could work also. Check out this thread for some pics of tinted out tails...

and if you are interested in doing them, then:

I like them...most people who have seen the car noticed the change, and liked it. It's a very subtle mod, but one that had to be done becuase i personally could not stand the orange any longer.

Add wheels and a kit to the Inspire tails and then the difference will really matter!

People won't know that you have a 99-01 TL. Unless they look at the front. That is if they ever catch up.

They do make your car look a lot better in IMO

Your signature talks for you:

PIAA 1700X | Inspire Switch | 50/35/35 Formula 1 Tint
AEM Short Ram | Polarg corners, doors, trunk, plate | Shock Sensor
H&R Sports Springs | Indiglo Gauges

Or are all those performance mods.

Where are YOUR's? :p

Since CBS said he was tight on cash a while back, I think he could spend it on something better.

Oh and Bitium, none of that stuff makes my car go faster. I'm just saving up for those tails. I'm sure that'll add 5hp.

I am in the process of possibly buying 02' tails or buying another mod. But will 02' tails really make a difference to 01's?

All i can say is "HELL YEAH it does"

Depends on what you are going for. Me personally, I wouldnt shell out 300 bucks purely for looks. (And dont give me crap about my kit+wing either guys...we are talking about CBS here :p ) If you want to do something different, I suggest you try tinting your tails first and going for either an intake or sways. From the look of your sig though, it would seem as though you'd rather go for the look, so if you had to choose between an intake or sways, I'd suggest you go for an intake first since it'll be the cheaper mod.

Its the same as the 5 series BMW, the clear turn signals look way better than the amber, especially on darker coloured cars.
