Any 1st Gen owners with pics of Inspire tails installed? I'd like to see how they look installed.

Do u really own two TLs, not that it's outrageous or anything. I am just simply wondering why two?

Kuan48,
The 96 and 00 TLs look different and the 00 is a 5speed. They are not the same car at all.

TLover8888,
modocsot is talking about the 1st gen inspire tails. I don't think that the TL-S coming out will have any affect on the price of 5 bills on the 1st gen inspires.

Ya, I know that. But still??
I know if u likes that much, u can even own like a 91 Legend , 97 2.5 TL, 00 3.2 and a 02 3.2S. But I just curious for his reason.
Thanx, for the attention though. ( Which i never seems to get in the past month ).

Be careful with some of them sprays, you might be disappointed with how dull they will make the tail look. A friend of mine got around this by putting some clear film on the tail then painted it, that seemed to help a little to keep it shiny.

thanks for the clarification on the tail lights...i really did not know there were two different ones.

and yes, i do have two TL's. the '96 one was a lease and i liked it so much that i bought it and then bought another one. yeah, i know buying off of a lease is stupid but i wasnt planning on buying it when signing the dotted line to the lease.

i could have gotten all those cars you mention but if you really look at all the standard features that the TL offered as compared to those that you mentioned, then you would have gotten the 2nd gen TL too. c'mon, heated front seats, HID lights, 5-speed, 225 HP etc. some of that stuff is optional, in more pricey cars! for the price i got my TL at, under 30K, i think i made a good choice.

you know, i just noticed that Tim lowered the price of the front bumper lights 4 cents...maybe he'll lower the tail lights too. hey, every penny counts...towards other mods!

Last Generation TL (96~98 or something)
was about $34000~35000. They were made in Japan. Since 99 they start to make them here, and that is why we get basically the same car( remodeled of course ) for a lot less money. TLs are great cars, though the sticker price might make them sound cheap. But, I think they are way better cars than boring ES300, which cost way more than current TL after options. I am hoping that the next generation TLs would be even better, and I don't care if they rise the price close to the current ES300. Because I know if Acura continue to do what they have done in the past few years, the next TL will be a kick ass sports sedan. YA!
