Talking Inspire Tails!

I just ordered my inspire tail lights from Snook and should be here very soon! Are they hard to install? I tried doing a search but was unable to find any posts regarding installs. Did anyone have any particular problem when installing theirs? thanks.

i just installed mine today. i believe there are six screws per side. unbolt them, and disconnect the bulb harnesses. on the driver's side, you have to disconnect 2 harnesses and disconnect the bulb harnesses. also you have to remove the plugs off of the stock tailight and put onto the new. mine came w/ the gaskets so i did not have to use the stock. there is one small problem, the blinker bulb housings are not the same size as stock. i have mine wedged in right now and im going to either wrap the harness in tape to make it fit or silicone them in place. i hope this makes sense...

no problems, east install.
1-remove center plastic panel (4 plastic "screwplugs")
2-Unscrew cargo net hooks next to each taillight area
3- peel back trunk liner from the tailights
4- remove 6 10mm nuts on each tail light assembly.
5- disconnect each bulb socket by turning 1/4 turn and pulling away from assembly
6- one of the wires crosses under the foam, so be careful...carefully pull assembly away from body of car.
7 replace with Inspire tails and reverse procedure (except the "be careful" part.

have fun, took me 30 mins tops.

Don't touch the bulbs with your hand! they will blow out! Nooo not explode, just blow out! (halogen)
