hey guys my turn signal bulb just stopped working so i went to napa to get a another bulb i showed him the bulb and he gave me one looks the same but it doesnt fit does anyone with the jdm taillights know the correct bulb size or is it only available at acura i checked honda and they dont have it either thanks

Are you using the USDM harness in the tail lights?

If your talking about your rear 1156 signal lights, the guy probably gave you a normal 1156 bulb type. Our stock ones come 1156A, which has to do with how the small notches you see on the base of the bulb. Just shave one of them down with a nail filer and it should lock into place.

i had the Saber/Inspire tail lights on my car and it was a nightmare b/c everyone kept telling me the bulb was the same as the 02-03 lights (it wasnt)

just do like one member said and file one of the nubs down... and it will go in no problem.

The USDM harnesses don't fit in the JDM tail lights? If you switch the harnesses around from the JDM to USDM then it will work no?

the problem with this is the only people who would buy jdm tail lights (99-01) ... cannot use thier usdm harness b/c they changed the harnesses from 99-01 and 02-03.

its best to modify the bulb and it will go in just fine.. otherwize you will need to buy the 02-03 wiring harness and use it on the jdm tail lights.

i did.

i bought them before knowing that the 02-03 had the same lights.
i was cool

otherwize i would have just found some depot 02-03
but i really had JDM tail lights lol
