Post Inspire Fog Light Switch

I finally got the Inspire Fog lights switches, back up on the site. For those of you that don't know, they fit right in the empty spot on our dash, and match the ones next to it.
Here is a picture

I will have them in 2 weeks, and you can order them now from the TL parts page

KUMO, this is just the switch. For the wiring diagram go to our FAQ, and it has a diagram there. Also shows how to wire from PIAA wiring harness

Snook, how did you get the wires to stick to the prongs? Did you sawder them on or just taped it, or simply wrapped it around the prong? Help! Got this switch and I can't do squat with it!

Yeah, Snook, how did you get them to stay on. Another thing, with the aforementioned wiring of the fog and switch, does the fogs go off when going to high beam?

Question

I heard from a friend that DOT allows the fog to be on with low beam only. Does anyone know that if it varies from state to state?

I can't find anything about if it can be used in conjunction w/ high beams. But this is what it says about foglights in CA. CAVC

24403. Any motor vehicle may be equipped with not to exceed two foglamps which may be used with, but shall not be used in substitution of, headlamps. Foglamps shall be mounted on the front at a height of not less than 12 inches nor more than 30 inches and so aimed that when the vehicle is not loaded none of the high-intensity portion of the light to the left of the center of the vehicle shall at a distance of 25 feet ahead project higher than a level of four inches below the level of the center of the lamp from which it comes.
