Inspire Badging Kit
I've browsed and searched a lot of these forums...but can't find the info I need...
Where can i get a nice, explained, Inspire badging kit?
I also need instructions on safely removing existing badging.
Sorry if this has been posted before...
Thx,
MK

To remove simply peel off with finger nails or something that can lift the letters. To remove the sticky residuals use fingertips and special liquid to remove stickiness. I would know because I just installed mine today!

Hey,
Badging can be removed by heat using a hair dryer or a really hot, sunny day. (I used the former.) Once the adhesive is warm enough, gently peel off the badging. Some will use dental floss to cut away the glue as you are peeling off...
With the extra large pieces of adhesive that may still exist on the paint, you can use your fingers and remove it. The stuff remaining can be wiped off with a product called Goo-Gone (great product) or simply WD40. Do not use paint thinner or other products that will eat away at your clear coat.
Once everything is off, use some dishsoap to make sure any grease is removed where you new badging will go -- it'll make sure they'll stick really well!
Hope that helps.
