Indiglo's

I was wondering if there were any reprecusions to putting doule-sided tape on our factory gauges? If we decide to sell the car and have to take the overlays off, will the tape damage the original gauge?

Nate, any news on the silver gauges?????

I would like to know what's going on so that I can decided whether to install these white ones.

Let us know what is going on Nate, we haven't heard from you in a while.

When I was installing my indiglos, I wondered the same thing, but after inspecting the stock gauge faces I would say that you don't have to worry about damaging the stock gauges with the tape. The stock gauges are very high quality and even very strong tape would not lift any of the marking off. Just be careful not to damage or remove the needles when you do so.

Yeah... Don't worry about damaging the stock gauge cover. I've already took out couple of times and no problems on stock gauge. It's kind a hard to take those out, but I am sure you won't have a problem with that.
Just like Vincent said, be careful on needles when you take it out. It's harder to take it out than installing it.

I had my white guages in for a week and then took them out. I had to put the gorrilla grip on the overlays to get the tape to let go, but it did with no residue.

When the silver ones come in I am going to try silicon sealer as a glue instead of th tape. I worry about the residue with this.
