Indiglo gauges - double-sided tape?
I've looked at several posts concerning the installation of Indiglo gauges. One installation description lists double-sided tape being included with the kit that keeps the overlay from interfering with the needles. My indiglo kit did not come with any double-sided tape.
Does anyone have any idea what kind of double-sided tape I should use?
Scotch tape type of double-sided tape? Masking tape type?
Also, where is the best place to put the double-sided tape? Do I put it directly on the gauges or on the back of the overlay?

if your indiglo gauges doesn't come with the double sided tape, you should really call whoever sold it to you.
The type included is a very thin and clear double sided tape. I haven't been able to find these in stores. Ask the guys who sell the guages on ebay if they will sell you some. I doubt any other double sided tape would work because they aren't strong enough or thin enough.
You put it behind the indiglo gauges so they are held down against the stock guage.

Best place to put the double sided tape is around the inner circle of the gauge, this seems to be the best place. if you don't put a decent amount around the inner ciricle of the guages, the needles tend to stick more.

I had the same problem, one of my friends suggested some vaseline onder it to suck it down. I havent trued it yet but it seems like it would work. Or just go by some double sided tape.
