Anyone do a swap on the steering wheel?? i was trying to buy this:

if not...does anyone know the size of the acura tl steering wheel mount?? cuz this is the one for the type r steering wheel: "Mount is 1 1/8 wide with a 11/16 wide opening and 1/4 wide notches."

 

Won't work. The airbag wiring harness is not the same and the mounting bolts are different types. One is a threaded bolt the other is a nut.

BTW I never thought about putting Civic steering wheel on my TL.

Seriously.. why not get the Inspire wheel? Why throw a Civic or even an Accord wheel on a TL??

 

I thought INSPIRE steering wheel's same as TL's.

 

You only need to change the airbag

 

If you want everything Honda so bad why didn't you just buy a Accord?

also, i dont want the wood steering wheel...i have the blackwood not the wood. i wanted the civic type-r one cause it looks more sporty
