Idle sometimes go very low

hi all . after changing the oxygen sensors to my Acura 2000 and the mechanic removed the battery before doing that. I expected better mpg. but the contrary happened and I noticed the idle is lower than normal. and I need to push more on gas pedal.

From: Baja, México.
You need to do the IDLE Relearn procedure.
Idle will most of the time go nuts after a battery removal.
My way to re-learn it fast is to safely hit VTEC at least twice in the highway, That is usually enough to set idle back to stock.
Manual says: Idle with your foot on the gas at 2000RPM until the fans kick in that is about 5 minutes or so.
