icebox and pulley on 1999
this week i got my H&R OE springs installed as well as the icebox and UR pulley.
the car is totally transformed now and it looks and sounds so much better. the car pulls alot harder too and i can hardly resist the urge to v-tech. the handling is improved as well as the lowered ride height has reduced some body roll when taking corners at speed.
to anybody wanting to modify a tl-p to get more power, yet not have a loud sounding car, i would recommend the UR Pulley and icebox. im sure you will be happy with the combo.
peace

Sweet man, the car does drive alot better with new springs thats for sure. The pulley is definately something that I have been thinking about also...glad to hear everything worked out good for you.

woooo!!
very nice bro. those are the same mods i plan to do in the future
except instead of the OE i'll most likely jump for the tech high-tech luxury springs (1.5" f / 1.0" r) instead.
but either way, glad it worked out well for you!

prior to my mods installation, i drove the car under high rpm's, so that i could know the difference in power upon completion of the upgrades.
before the icebox, even under full out acceleration, there was not any growl and was generally quiet. after the icebox install(including removing the resonator,of course), there is a noticable growl once the RPM's head above 3500.
when im just cruising at low speeds or under normal driving, the comptec icebox is very quiet which i love. but when you open it up, it really gives a growl.
overall, the pulley, icebox combo is a great one for the 1999.
