it is an intake system made by comptech which uses cold air induction. basically, the intake is placed away from the hot engine bay so that it can take in cooler air.

Can you actually tell a difference in power with it. So basically you are taking a short ram intake and blocking the heat from the bay so the engine gets colder air. Understandable. Can I ask one more question, and this may stupid to ask. Would it be a better investment to get a Cold air and then the air by pass valve so water doesnt enter?

some will say get tha cold air and the bypass, if you drive through deap puddles (like 10" deap) i would recomend it. its a little added saftey. i would get the icebox if you want a lower maintence easer to clean filter. if you want more sound get the aem CAI. both will give you around 10hp

Not really. No noticeable difference from stock. i think your exhaust would have far more to do with tone and sound than the CAI

nope other way around. the CAI is really loud at wide open throttle, the exhaust, well you cant hear it, unless you remove both exhaust resonators
