IAC valve removal help

My cars idles rough and dosn't start right away so I thought I would try to clean the IAC valve.

I unbolted the Throttle body and ripped the gasket. Inside the TB are two black screws on the circle that can be pushed open. Are these the screws to take off the TB? I couldn't get the TB completely off and access them because one hose would not come loose even after taking off the metel retainer. BTW how important is it to replace the gasket and is there any other way to clean it without taking it off?

well you will ned a new gasket before you reinstall it. Its VERY important.
And teh IAC is on teh bottom of the TB not inside it.

I wouldnt. Thats why its recommended not to take off the TB to gt to the IAC. Most times out of 10 the gasket tears
