Thumbs up I35 Pricing vs. TL-S pricing

This is from the Infiniti site.

"I35 MSRP for the base Luxury Model is $28,750, compared to 2001's base model MSRP of $29,715. The changes for 2002 are designed to maintain the I35's positioning as the standard bearer in its class in terms of power, handling and luxury appointments. I35 styling and standard interior refinements include a Q45-like grille, redesigned front and rear appearance, refined leather-appointed seats, wood-tone/leather steering wheel, wood-tone shift knob, in-dash 6-disc CD changer, traction control, Electronic Brake force Distribution, Brake Assist, 17" aluminum alloy wheels, and a long list of amenities. New features for 2002 include optional chrome wheels and rear heated seats and heated steering wheel are added to the Cold Weather Package.

New option packages and amenities added to the Luxury Model allow I35 customers to tailor the vehicle to their exact taste.

Most I35 models will be equipped with the Sunroof and Sunshade Package. Included in this package are a power sliding glass sunroof with tilt and sunshade and power rear window sunshade. MSRP for the Luxury Model with the Sunroof and Sunshade Package is $30,130.

Building on the Sunroof and Sunshade Package, the Sport Package includes the same features in the Sunroof and Sunshade Package plus a sport-tuned suspension, 17-inch sport wheels, P225/50R17 performance tires, Vehicle Dynamic Control and side sill spoilers. MSRP for the Luxury Model with Sport Package is $31,830."

LMAO.. this was my response too, but I'm guessing that it's just for info. Personally, I'd never pay that much for that car... to slow. I'd buy the TL-S or if I was a huge Nissan fan, the Maxima. To me, an Infinity is not worth it......

The I35 with Sport and Sunroof package is with a MSRP of $31,830. I believe the I35 is having the same feature as the TL-S non nav. model. Of course, the I35 is missing the 5 speed sport-shift. The I35 will also have the rear sun shade and wood leather steering wheel. I believe this is an option in the TL-S.

Since this vehicle will made in Japan, will it make it a better value?

tjif-I traded in my I-30t for my TL-S. The I-30 is a good value, and with the I-35 it appears to be a great value. However, I feel it is for luxury only. I'm interested to test drive one, because I doubt the drive will be as "sporty" as the TL-S. They seem so looonngg! I went to the Infiniti site, and it is a beautiful car, and the interior is awesome.

I had a pleasure to test drive an I35 this afternoon. The experience is fantastic. The engine is quick and responsive. I test drive the Sport Model. It is great.

Well, it is selling at MSRP right now. Hope the price will drops soon.

Thanks.

I am thinking should I trade my I30t for the I35 or the 02 Maxima.
