I can't seem to find the clear turn signals for the rear. I've seen many a bimmer with super whites and I think it looks awesome, even if it is illegal. Where can I get these clear turn signals and what model number are they? I've checked three different stores and none have them. Only thing I could find was an amber one. Someone hook me up!

PS - I got bird pu-pu on my car today so I gotta go wash my car after I'm done at the gym. Frickin' birds!

You hate all cops b/c one pulled you over for clear blinkers? Granted, there are some cops who are total d!cks, but a lot of them are pretty cool...I have cop friends.

Some cops are cool, some aren't. I have a friend who is swine, nice guy but even he told me that they profile by race, age, car, etc. This guy is latino, 22, and drives a car with illegal tint! I love the kid but was shocked when he admitted that.

My other friend is black, 25, drives a bimmer and gets pulled over constantly for nothing. One day he was speeding badly (100+) gets pulled over and the cop gives him a ticket for an illegal tint and just a warning for illegal lane change. Now that was a nice cop.

Anyways, back to the subject at hand. Do they make the 1156's in white/clear? Plus are you sure that these are the correct bulbs? When I went to get mine the pegs on the side of my bulb were slightly offset (145 degrees from each other rather than 180). I guess I can go check again but I showed the bulb to people at Lappens and autozone and nothing.

Clear turn signals are illegal. While I agree it's a petty thing to get pulled over for... it's still illegal, so you'll either need to deal with it or put a legal bulb in that spot.....

I believe you need to grind off one of the nubs on the bulb in order for it fit too. Normal bulbs have two nubs 180 degrees apart from each other. But our stock bulbs have them 120 degrees apart making it impossible to install other bulbs without rework. Not sure, can somebody confirm?

you must look like a little thug. cops have been pretty cool with me so far. once i was haulling a$$ to work, and the moto-cop instead of pulling me over and giving me a ticket .. just came hauling ass right next to me.. told me to lower my windows.. and just told me to slow down a little.

another cop, when i pulled up to this resturant told me i should be careful about my clear corners cause some cops will take the time to pull me over. hahaha, the guy said the lights looked tight.

personally, i think having white turn signals are damn annoying. i took out the nasty orange.. and put reds in . they look tight at night.

Thanks. Now do you (or anyone know) if these actually fit or have they been filed down (or do I have to do the filing). Sorry to be such a pest but its $25 bucks vs $5 at Lappens or something for regular bulbs.

i had to get mine filed. the shop i got my bulbs did it for me. took all but 30 secs.

Wouldn't you get pissed if the COP pulled you over for having different color bulb, and put "NO" on correctable violation? I had to go to the court and fight for it because the fine was about 100 bucks.

I DO NOT hate all the cops because one pulled me over.

I hate cops because all the COPS I've faced had no MERCY what so ever.

Sorry... I don't know for sure... but you have two replies above both stating that they needed to be filed (axleback and chrism7855), so my guess is that they need to be filed down. I mean, they've both done it, so they'd know.....

Yupo you have ti file down one of the nubs to get it to fit.

Note: You need to file down the nub that is closer to the glass part of the bulb. You'll notice that one is higher than the other. You want the one that is closer to the glass part of the bulb.
