I thought acura had fixed the rotor problem?

It seems like many people on here have had rotor problems due to our pads causing the rotors to warp. I was thinking that since my car is a 99 and had these problems itd be fixed in newer cars, but my friends 2002 RSX got warped rotors before 15,000 miles. So is acrua still putting the p.o.s. pads on all their cars?

its not the pads, the rotors arent either thick enough to handle the weight of the car and heat or cheap material. the pads have worked great on my cross drilled rotors there actually one of the best TRACK pads ive driven

I could be wrong but I thought people on here said the problem was with the pads - I think there is a TSB about it. At least for the TLs, maybe its a different problem for the RSXs? I thought someone on here said it affected honda's too...

Dealer told me that the orig pads were too hard and were wearing out the rotors. Supposedly new pads are softer composition?
