Hey, how hard is it to take the bezel off? I looked yesterday and saw two screws. Does it pop off after removing the screws?
Didga get it fixed? Let me know because I need to change mine from KPH speedo to MPH (TL from Canada)

that happened to mine also.pop the needle off again (carefully) i had a friend get next to me on a back road and he set the cruise at 30 and i set mine the same speed as him. then pop the neede back on, but be carefull not to push too hard ane get the needle on too far, or it will stick as it goes up and you will be doing this again

Three Wheelin'
Here is another way to do it:
Except for the 1999 model which has a 4 speed tranny the following will work:
The car will not shift into 5th gear until you reach a minimum of 37MPH. Put the needle on, go find yourself a striaght section of road with few or no cars on it so you can pay attention to what you are doing, and drive in SS mode, shifting through the gears and slowly accelerating up and keep trying to get into D5 till you succeed. Note the speed indicated on the gauge. Whatever number it reads + / - of 37 MPH is how far off you are. Pull the needle off and put it back on at the amount you were off (you'll need the car to be moving while doing this as you cant reset the needle while the guage is at zero). Then try again. It shouldnt take you more than 3 or 4 attempts till you get it dead on.
I speak with experience on this as I had my gauge out and pulled apart several times while installing my remote radar detector disply into a space I'd cut out for it within the speedo gauge (I posted the install several years ago when this site was still acura-tl.com).
