I think I dropped my car???
Aight guy here is the deal. I f*cked up my car about a month ago, I hit a cement median on the freeway doing about 90 mph.
It was 13,400 in damage to the car and the ins. company had it repaired (I have pics). I almost kick my own ass when it happened.
I just got it back yesterday and it looks brand new!!! The body shop did a great job on it and I have no compliants on the body work.
Only prob. is that the car feels like its dropped. Its has a tight bounce and a little rougher feel. Is that possible or is it just me? They replaced the suspension on the drivers side with brand new factory ordered parts. As a matter of fact EVERYTHING was replaced with brand new parts. Like I said the body shop and Allstate did a great job handling the claim IMO. Excellent customer service!
I've dropped all of my cars before so I know the feel and ride of car thats been dropped, but this is bone stock (for now).
Am I just being paranoid? It is exactly the same setup that I had before. Could they have possibly installed a part improperly that may cause this? I've done suspension work before and I can't think of a scenario that may cause I prob. like this using completely stock parts. Any suggestions?

I suggest dropping your car. Thereotically, this will cancel out the "dropped-car" effect already in place, thus relagating your car to "non-dropped" status.

When i got my TLS, it felt firm unlike the test ride vechicle. But, if u think about it, the car was brand new and the odo had 34 miles on it. Now it has 1000 more miles on and it has loosened up. If u got new suspension u might need it to be broken in for a month or so and it should feel less rough....

Ya, I want to drop my car but at this point I am thinking that if my car already rides like this it will get worse when I drop it.
Outlook: I thought that the suspension might loosen up in time also, but my car didn't ride like this when I first bought it. And the shocks were brand new at that time also. So i'm really confused !!!

Ya they are stock, Ive seen the invoices from the Acura dealer and besides you can't buy just two springs from any other place. It would have to be a set of four and they only replaced the drivers side suspension.

See if you can get your hands on another TL-S for a test drive. Just promise no 90mph drives on the freeway . YOu could also just ride shotgun in both cars concentrate on the ride and let whomever you are with drive.

Sorry to hear about tha accident man. But sit on those springs for about a month and put some good wear on them as well as the rest of the car. Take the car on the highway, and make sure there is no shaking in the steering and other things that dont seem normal.
