I need recommendations on RIM styles...

I don't want to get some rims that are simply GAY and ugly! I want something that looks not only mean but also light!

What do you suggest?

Pics will be much appreciated! :toothless

I like the wheels in the pic above. IMO the Lowenhart's are ok if you wanna look like a thug.

Both of the cars in this thread have good looking wheels. But my suggestion would be for you to use your own taste to pick your wheels. Don't be concerned with what other people think you should get. Look through some websites & catalogs and maybe consult a couple of close friends who have similar taste to yours.

dear Storm_Shadow,

you spoke of the truth in this regard... just kiddin around...

Well, I just wanted to see some pictures and hopefully make a choice soon... I have been to tirerack.com. I love that site, however, I don't like any of the ones they have..... I will go again... But hopefully by then there will be more pics or links posted....

What's your budget?

Are you looking at 17s, 18s, 19s????
My personal fav... Racing Hart C2 3-piece wheels.

my budget is around 2000 dollars... maybe alittle more...

I do like the C2's as well... even the one piece will look nice too!

I bet you would have to sign a small morgage just to get them though!!

here is a link to a page with hundreads of rims, if not thousands, it goes from stock rims on almost any car to a hell of a selection of aftermarket rims.

The only problem with this site is you will feel lost unless you have a Brand name and Modle or you could spend weeks here looking at rims.

http://www.wheelspecs.com/specs/

How about people list the NAME of the rim and BRAND they think works the best on the TL and we all can either go grab the pic and post it or just look through the site. I looked on the site for a while but go tired with all of the different brands. lil' help, thanks!
