Question I need the oem fog lamps

Dealer wanted $504 which is absurd to me...Where should I get them and about how much should I pay? Mine still work but driver side has huge piece of lens missing and passenger side is cracked....

that a little high, but not extrodinary though, they are expensive suckers, but yeah i had to replace my driverside one though, cause of holes punched in it, and my passenger side is still cracked, but not leaking though, so that can stay in for now

Try Ebay, car-parts.com, if it just for 1 foglight assembly shoudn't cost that much at the dealer, maybe for a whole complete kit, but then i could be wrong.

it's like $200 JUST for the housing alone, not even including a new bulb, but you get a perfect lense then though

so really that $504 is really not that bad afterall, when you take into account of just the parts (basically an hour of labour, if that is also installed)

If the damage is just the lenses, I would do the Lexan replacement and save a shit ton of $$

^^^x2, sounds like it's just the lenses that need fixing - just bake them, pry 'em open, and replace the lenses. This is much easier to do than with the headlights.

But if you wanna replace 'em, why not try the local junkyard? They probably will give you both for ~60-80 bucks.

only issue i had, was that it had been like that for a long time though, so the chrome inside was already corroded and such badly, so couldn't really do that too easily without painting the inside and such

Do you HAVE to pull the bumper off to replace them?

no, not really but pulling the bottom out a little on the bumper, might help you be able to reach the 10mm bolt holding each side in (you need probably like a 9-12 inch extension though iirc, to reach it)

Foglights

Check out Rockauto.com
I bought them for about $110.
They fit perfect.

Easy to replace

It is a 10 minute job to replace. You will find access holes under the bumper. Lie on your back on under the bumper and you will find a square access hole. Use a 10 inch extension with a 8 mm socket to release the hold down screw. Very easy.
