i juts pulled off the intake resonator and when i rev it in nutruel and parkl..the rev limter cuts in at 5 - 5.5k....is that what the rev limit is?...

 

Not sure... but it doesn't make sense. I would think that the rev limiter would be the same in park as it is in drive... so you should be able to rev up to redline.

Why did you pull of the intake resonator, are you installing an intake?

 

just for sound...is there anything else that would make the rev limiter go off at 5500?

 

Nothing I can think of off hand unless something else was accidentially disconnected. Hopefully someone else will jump in here....

 

The TL's rev limiter in neutral or park is 5500 RPM, dont worry, its normal.

 

whoa good..i was scared for a sec...scared and the thought of having to put the resonator back in to bring it to the dealer...
