I need advice
I can buy the most rawest caliber rims right now for 2G w/tires...Only problem is that they are 18X8.5 w/a +45 offset...I got this fool swearing up and down that he knows his stuff and that I can run this rim with a 225/40 no scrubs...Someone please help...These are type C2's carbon fiber center cap 3 piece...Shyne
the bling is in the rarity of these rims...i swear these are phatter than any C2's...The rim's lip is ddc so that means its hard as hell virtually impossible to dent...i dont know, but that would look sweet on a TL and no one has these rims...Shyne
imo, i think the offset is too low for that width. i think most agree that 18x7.5s with a 50 offset is perfect. so using this setup, i calculated that you will need a 57ish offset for 8.5" wide rims to have the same amount of fender lip clearance as the 7.5s. this is purely mathematical so i can't say for sure regarding real world specs (but these types of wheels do exist!).
btw, are you buying from someone in socal? just curious...

nope these are in texas, and the dude in socal that has them is the one swearing up and down that it will fit cuz he ran it on his accord...right now he has them sitting on a prelude, cuz they fit 4 and 5 lug...anyways, i dont think they will clear either...im looking for some tight ass rims, and im having the hardest time...i screwed up once and cant do it again...Shyne
