I really dont like any of these guys especially after the whole fog thing, but i need to know if i should worry about water getting in the intake. I live in New York, we do have snow and we get the occasional rainfall, also i was my car like a mad man. Any help wouold be appreciated and thanx in advance.

You shouldn't have a problem with your intake, I've had my intake in my 91 Legend for 2 1/2 years now and never had a problem. Even thru a couple of floods here in NJ. I've never heard of anyone with a TL had a problem of water getting in their intake either, I don't know who made this up? Maybe it was a marketing ploy to sell the bypass valve.
